04:27 PM ET 03.13 | While he's going to be the team's starting point guard for the next month, Shaun Livingston likely won't be back with the Cleveland Cavaliers next season. Currently filling the role of starter in place of the injured Kyrie Irving, Livingston has salvaged his career in Cleveland, but head coach Byron Scott isn't optimistic about his long-term role with the franchise. While the coach praised Livingston's play and described himself as a fan, the point guard will hit unrestricted free agency this summer with a bolstered resume. Even though Cleveland would presumably like to have him around to back-up Irving, the expectation is that he'll receive offers the Cavaliers aren't willing to match.

No. He was hailed as having a big Johnson. But he sprained it and has never been the same since.

Ready To Rejoin The NBA, Bro?

I doubt that Shaun Livingston will be any better than a role player and NBA journeyman. His injuries has ravaged a one prosperous career. Now he will be lucky enough to snag a league mminuimum deal.

You better get back on your meds.

Livingston, at 27 years of age, will likely get a 3 or 4 year contract at around $5 million per.
