04:37 PM ET 03.13 | James Franklin has kicked a key contributor off of Vanderbilt's football team, confirming that starting defensive tackle Jared Morse was no longer enrolled at the school.

Franklin has turned Vandy around, with his squad going 9-4 this year and winning a bowl game. But it's clear that he likes things done his way, and hasn't shown much tolerance, as Morse is the third player who has been removed from the team due to a violation of team rules.

It's not exactly clear what Morse did, although Franklin did say that there was some hope the player could return in the fall. He had nine tackles for loss and two sacks last year.

This is a post, to fill in for "all" the Vandy fans!

"although Franklin did say that there was some hope the player could return in the fall", sounds like Vandy is more than just a nerd school maybe.

Vandy reaching for the big time.

With the previous 3 issues, just need the RJefferson from LSU assault to complete the Fulmer Cup additions from last night.
