04:48 PM ET 03.13 | Anaheim Ducks star forward Corey Perry has been suspended four games by the NHL???s Department of Player Safety, according to an announcement by the league on Wednesday afternoon. The discipline is directly related to a hit Perry administered to Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker on Tuesday night. In the opinion of the department, Perry???s hit was late and illegal. They removed the onus from Zucker and stated that he should not have had to expect a hit would come that late. They did, however, believe Perry recklessly hit Zucker and punished him severaly for the play.

I'm surprised. I thought the max would be 3 and that it was possible to get 1, or none, just a fine. I didn't think it was the personification of evil. My ability to predict stuff, never good, is getting worse. :-(
