07:43 PM ET 03.13 | Greene visited the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday but he didn't leave town. After meeting with the team, the Titans and Greene have come to an agreement on a three-year, $10 million contract. Greene was expected to sign with the Titans since he's a perfect fit for what they're trying to do. The Titans are trying to help out Chris Johnson and while upgrading the offensive line is a great way to do it, helping him out when he's not on the field is another way and that meant beefing up running back depth. Greene and Johnson are complementary runners: Johnson is a lighting fast speed back, while Greene is a between-the-tackles type of player who runs downhill and isn't afraid to exploit open space. Jake Locker hasn't had many weapons during his short stint with the Titans but adding Greene allows him to know whoever is behind him in the backfield is capable of being a playmaker and it may help take a nervous edge off.

Yes. If the line is average, Greene will spell CJ at times at RB, which will extend his NFL career.

Jesus, the Pope, and the other Pope.

The only 3 names that can help the Titans offense (I hear 2 of the above 3 are free agents)

I like that fit, if it happens

Yup.

3.3 million per year for three years. That won't pay for as comfy a bench cushion as Matt Flynn has, but it's not bad money for spelling the star "at times".
