08:17 AM ET 03.14 | Along with Miami this season, Shane Larkin's star has been on the rise in 2012-13, as has the question of whether he might make an early leap to the NBA. Scouts were impressed, but Larkin told the Sun Sentinel he plans on returning to Coral Gables for his junior season. "I love playing for Coach L," he said after the Hurricanes practice Wednesday in Greensboro. "Obviously, you want to go to the next level, but I love what I'm doing now. I love all the players and I love everybody in the program and I love everybody at the school. So I don't see any reason to take that next step." Larkin's return would be a huge score for a program losing five crucial seniors.

Great Move since unlike D-1 Football staying a Extra Yr usually helps an though my Glorious MIAMI CANES won't be even close to as good as they were this Yr keeping LARKIN helps them attract more TALENT & will up his Draft Status baring a WORD I WONT SAY after NERLAN NOELS who lost Millions but still is a Lottery Pick.

Glad to hear that. Kid sounds like he's got maturity beyond his years. Hope he does well next season and will be even richer when he does "take the next step".

ESPN has him listed at 5' 11"...

I think they're being kind...

Then again - for a while there, they had Eddy Curry listed at 240

You're whining about names and you can't even spell? Oh, irony.

On topic, nice to see Larkin realize that he's not ready yet.

He's making it look easy with a group of seniors around him. It'll be an interesting year next year when it's him and the "rest" of the 'Canes
