08:23 AM ET 03.14 | Sidney Crosby took the occasion recently of a wide-ranging postgame interview to offer his take on such hot-button topics as the Olympics, visors, expansion and fighting. Crosby knows fighting has become a sensitive issue after Ottawa's Dave Dziurzynski was KO'ed by the Leafs' Frazer McLaren last week. At the same time, he admits there still seems to be a place for fisticuffs in the sport. ... Sometimes things happen no matter how many times you have done it. The likelihood probably increases when you have an experienced guy going up against someone who is having his first time fighting at the NHL level. "It's been around for a long time and I don't see it changing any time soon."

Fighting became an issue after that scrap in the media, an issue fabricated by the media, and an issue promulgated by the media. A dumb kid went up against a heavyweight and lost bad. It's a cautionary tale, nothing more. Quit making this more than it is.

I wish I cared about this, but I don't, but when it comes to Sidney Crosby there are only 2 things I hear, crying and oh wait, just 1 thing..... crying...
As for Arsenal and Bayern, it was win/win for me, Arsenal is my team in the EPL, and FC Bayern, in the Bundesliga... only winning on away goals is a little scary though...
