Drew Stanton the next Cardinals starting QB?

08:42 AM ET 03.14 | When the Arizona Cardinals announced the signing of free agent quarterback Drew Stanton, he was immediately one of the team's most promising signal-callers and there was speculation on whether or not he would get a chance to run the offense. According to Stanton, he will. The new Cardinals quarterback said he was promised a chance to compete for the starting job and, quite honestly, he should win the job. Stanton would face very little competition for the job, especially with the most likely challenger, Kevin Kolb, a potential cap casualty if he refuses to restructure his contract. The other quarterbacks, John Skelton and Ryan Lindley have left a lot to be desired, while restricted free agent Brian Hoyer has never shown much skill of his own. It's an ugly situation in Arizona, but luckily they have Stanton. For Stanton, he lacks experience of his own, but he is the most familiar with new head coach Bruce Arians' offense after spending last season with the coach in Indianapolis.

Those two and a couple of decent years from Plummer.

Cards could probably get Tebow on the cheap, (the Bidwell way of doing business) once the Jets cut him.
