12:20 PM ET 03.14 | The Indianapolis Colts signed free agent safety LaRon Landry on Wednesday, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. The Colts confirmed the signing later on Wednesday evening. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Landry and the Colts agreed to a four-year deal worth $24 million, with $14 million guaranteed. The deal is very similar to the contract William Moore signed with Atlanta prior to the start of free agency. The 28-year-old Landry is coming off his first Pro Bowl appearance. After five seasons with the Washington Redskins, Landry signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets in 2012 in an attempt to re-establish his value after two injury-played years with the Redskins. That move paid off, as a year later Landry was able to sign a lucrative long-term deal.

I wasn't at all impressed with his play last year and was surprised he made the Pro Bowl. This contract is also surprising!
