12:24 PM ET 03.14 | Former Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. The Broncos later confirmed the report. Rodgers-Cromartie was a first-round pick in the 2008 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He played in every game for the Cardinals over the next three seasons before he was traded, along with a second-round pick, to the Eagles in exchange for quarterback Kevin Kolb. Rodgers-Cromartie played in every game but three for the Eagles over the past two seasons. In his five-year career, Rodgers-Cromartie has made 215 tackles, one sack, has picked off 16 passes and broken up another 84. He returned four of his interceptions for touchdowns. Rodgers-Cromartie played in a star-studded but underachieving cast in the Eagles secondary that included Nnamdi Asomugha and Asante Samuel.

The Broncos to me are improving the weakness leak on their team by adding Cromartie.
