Alex Steen activated from injured reserve

04:48 PM ET 03.14 | St. Louis Blues forward Alex Steen has been activated from injured reserve, according to an announcement from the team. As of Thursday afternoon, the Blues have yet to address whether Steen will be in the lineup for the game that night. However, Steen has been participating in practice and was believed to potentially be available for Tuesday night???s game but was scratched by head coach Ken Hitchcock. Steen has missed eight games due to a shoulder injury he sustained in practice on Feb. 27. While the announcement has yet to come, his activation off IR is a strong indication that he will play.
