08:16 AM ET 03.15 | A two-man race between Casey Janssen and Sergio Santos -- with Steve Delabar on the outside -- nears the finish line for Toronto. On Wednesday, Santos appeared in a minor-league game and threw about 20 pitches. On Thursday, prior to the Jays' spring training game against a less-than-stellar Yankees squad, Janssen faced live hitters for the first time as he threw approximately 25 pitches during the Jays' BP. Both Santos and Janssen have certain hurdles they have yet to leap but so far so good for the two right-handers. Of the two, Santos is the further down the road to full recovery and unless a setback occurs, he should be ready to rumble come April 2.

Because it's the Jays.

Didn't they get 2-3 closers from the Marlins?

During that blockbuster trade with the Fish back in the winter, if you had concerns about a closer, you should had them throw in Heath Bell.

Are they also starting to pick a starter?
