03:37 PM ET 03.15 | Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul has been cleared for contact, according to an announcement by head coach Randy Carlyle on Friday afternoon. This means Lupul will be available to play in the team???s game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night. However, no decision has been made as to whether Lupul will play. He has missed the majority of the 2013 season due to a fractured forearm. He sustained the injury after being hit by a slap shot by captain Dion Phaneuf on Jan. 23. Lupul had returned to practice on Monday and was able to work on shooting, as well as skating drills. After a solo-session, he was able to take line rushes with his teammates for the first time since suffering the injury.
