07:47 AM ET 03.16 | Unfortunately for Miami, former Georgia Tech coach Bobby Cremins - the one member of the NCAA's 18-person infractions committee who expressed strong skepticism about using Nevin Shapiro as an NCAA source - was excluded from the committee that will hear UM's case in mid-June. According to a person involved in the case, UM's fate will be determined by Conference USA commissioner Britton Banowsky, Bowling Green athletic director Greg Cristopher, Notre Dame senior deputy athletic director Melissa Conboy, law professors Eleanor Myers (Temple) and James O'Fallon (Oregon), Kansas City-based attorney John Black, Washington D.C.-based attorney Roscoe Howard and Tampa-based attorney Christopher Griffin.

It'll be a slap on the wrist. Donna Shalala has already declared that the U has suffered enough with the self-imposed sanctions.

Face it OT, no way will the gutless ncaa impose more sanctions. The old u AD was their chair. The u will get off way too easy.

I wonder if Gordon Gee-whiz at the Ohio State University is still concerned about being fired by Jim Tressel ?

We'll see!!! It will be very interesting, IMO it will be pretty hard to sue the NCAA!!!

You have to admit how slimy this is SV. The reason YOUR AD dropped the hammer on us was because he said, "you should have known what was going on". That was his reason. All the while under HIS watch, your guys were getting things handed to them left and right. By a booster of your program. Ours was one guy, who was not associated with our program in ANY way. You have half your team getting hookers and strippers, and all kinds of mess, and all you will get are self-imposed sanctions??? An absolute joke.

did you read about what they were doing?? it won't be hard at all, they'll be lucky if the only thing that happens is a lawsuit.. remember, donna s. was on president clintons cabinet.. i'm sure shes got more than enough political connections to get the ball rolling on a federal investigation in to the NCAA's practices (and that would NOT end well for them)

Yes, I did read "about what they were doing", but does Donna want to open a can of worm????

You do know that the "Federal investigation", could open a can of worms for both the NCAA and the U, don't you????

how so? the only one who would come out looking terrible would be the NCAA.. the U didn't violate any federal laws, the NCAA on the other hand......................

I'm not so sure that any Federal law was violate by the NCAA in the U case!!!
