Thunder reportedly first offered James Harden to Warriors, Wizards

08:19 AM ET 03.16 | Multiple sources have told me that, when Oklahoma City's Sam Presti decided to shop James Harden, Golden State was his first call. He wanted Klay Thompson and a pick. The Warriors would only consider the trade if Oklahoma City took back Andris Biedrins or Richard Jefferson for 2013 expirings, knowing they'd get crushed by the luxury tax in 2014 with Harden's extension plus Steph Curry's extension plus David Lee plus Andrew Bogut/Jefferson/Biedrins. At that point, Presti went to Washington (offering Harden for Bradley Beal, and unbelievably getting turned down), then Houston (where the shopping heated up). Presti never ended up calling Golden State back.

1. This is old news.

2. It doesn't matter anyway because Harden is in the middle of a playoff run with the Houston Rockets.

this is almost as bad as the story a few weeks ago about kobe almost being a piston 5 years ago
( I think it was detroit- might have been another team)

The Thunder got the best deal that they could under the circumstances. If true, t is amazing that Washington turned them down. Golden State overplayed their hand expecting OKC to absorb their garbage.

Then Detroit would have not only been the worst city in the U.S. to live in but most hated on FN as well...

Eli, how are you doing?

Who do you think is currently the most hated on FN? Still Miami or has FN forgiven them by now and moved on to a new city?

Can we just get back to some good ol' fashion NY hating? Seems like it's been awhile since they held the crown.... if only for a day.

I happen to love Miami. I vacation there every year and really enjoy the beaches and great golf courses.

New York is a great place to visit if you want to see a Broadway play or a great Opera performance but I wouldn't want to live there.

Broadway and Opera? No wonder they call you the most interesting man in the world.

Same here. The ladies enjoy the shopping while we went to the baseball parks for both the Mets and Yankees, that was a fabulous 2 weeks in the city.
