08:55 AM ET 03.16 | Detroit Tigers minor league pitcher Cesar Carrillo was one of the players named in the Biogenesis documents and it looks like the league has decided to take action. Major League Baseball announced that Carrillo has been suspended 100 games because of "his violations of the minor league drug prevention and treatment program." The 100-game suspension is actually two separate suspensions. The first 50 games are being served for being named in the Biogenesis documents, while the second 50-game ban comes from lying to MLB about knowing Biogenesis clinic owner Tony Bosch.

I would want a refund from the clinic if I were him. He is soon to be 29 and can't get out of the minors. He should be able to sue Biogenesis for providing a faulty product.

50 games for being named? I recall a few more names on that list that are preparing to start the season. I guess the MLB justice system only affects minor leaguers no one's ever heard of.

If the mlb only would suspended the minor leaguers, that could be very unfair know why??
Because the majors would be favoring the players in the majors, and it should be straight cut,,,

So the minor leaguer get 100 games. What about Braun, A-Rod, etc, Bud?

While Carillo is a Spanish surname why doesn't anybody in the media want to discuss the HUGE percentage in players with a Latin American backround that have been linked to steroids? SI did a piece on it a few years back but even that didn't get much notice.
