Dan Connor signed by Giants, according to report

04:41 PM ET 03.16 | The New York Giants signed free agent linebacker Dan Connor on Saturday, according to NBC's Pro Football Talk. Connor spent the 2012 season with the Dallas Cowboys, reuniting with former Penn State teammate, Sean Lee. Connor appeared in 14 games for Dallas, and started eight. He finished the season with 57 tackles, and did not record a sack or force a fumble.

Typical Giant FA signing. Much like the Kawika Mitchell signing . Connor now plays in a 4-3 defense that suits him better. He will be the middle linebacking spot. One year, if he stays healthy he is an improvement from that dreadful mess of LBs the Giants put on the field last year.
