07:47 PM ET 03.17 | The owner of the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators said they have a contract awaiting Tim Tebow's signature, if he wants to play for them. Tebow was buried on the Jets's depth chart in 2012, and is among five quarterbacks on the roster at the moment. New York has reportedly tried to trade Tebow, but are finding very little in the way of willing trade partners. If the Jets cut Tebow, they will save $2.6 million in 2013.

Tebow was an idiot going to NY. He should have known what would happen. I suppose he listened to his agent. He needed to go somewhere low key to see if he could develop some talent.

Tebow's agent and Mike Tannenbaum must have been members of the same brain trust.

Five quarterbacks on the Jets roster? Why are they still holding on to Tebow? It seems unlikely they will find an NFL team to trade for him. With no plans for using him why not get the cap relief while he gets the opportunity to play in the Arena league (or anywhere else that will give him a shot) if he so chooses?

Or am I missing something?

He was lured by the bright lights of the city that never sleeps.
