12:58 AM ET 03.18 | Cavaliers head coach Byron Scott has gone just 62-152 in three seasons in Cleveland, and there are rumblings that there will have to be vast improvement next season in order for him to keep his job. Just how much improvement? The News-Herald's Bob Finnan says that the team may have to make the playoffs if Scott wants an extension past next year. General manager Chris Grant could also find himself on the hot seat if the team does not improve. The Cavs have a solid young talent base with Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson, but a slew of injuries to Irving has hurt the team's development. Adding another lottery pick to the mix will help, but any chance at a playoff run likely hinges on Irving's health.

Rebuilding is tough but he's getting there. Key is, Irving needs to be healthy the next year. And everyone needs to improve (obviously).

In the NBA, good players make good coaches.

I beginning to believe that he does suck as a coach. He sure don't know how to use his players.

What players?

His productive ones are always hurt, so what do you want him to do?

Few coaches could win with a roster of that Caliber.....that teams talent is exaggerated in the thread to say the least. Most normal fans couldnt even name the starting line up
