08:10 AM ET 03.18 | So much for Mavericks owner Mark Cuban rolling out the red carpet for Derek Fisher. [Cuban gave Fisher] a villain's welcome during the 38-year-old point guard's return to Dallas on Sunday night. "I'll just boo him like hopefully everybody else," Cuban said before the game. Mavericks fans were on board, too. They booed Fisher when he entered the game with 1:45 left. They then cheered loudly 10 seconds later when the reserve guard was called for his first foul in Oklahoma City's eventual 107-101 win. ... Cuban agreed that he wouldn't have been as disappointed if Fisher didn't make a significant contribution during his short time with the Mavs. "He's got a point there," Cuban said.

QUOTE(#3):

Fisher is the president of NBAPA. He found ways to go around loopholes and could now be placed in the same category as Hunter. He is suppose to represent the players and be a model for them but he chose to be the exception to the rule. His excuses of being w/ his family is getting ridiculous. This is like the boy who cried wolf...

Had Dallas not signed Fisher and let him play those few game. Then Fisher would have been replaced as president of the players union during all star weekend. But all Fisher wants to do is stay with a winner and in power.

If the players put Fisher in Hunter's old job. Then the players are dumber then I thought. The owners will eat Fisher alive during the next contract talks.

Cuban is only news when he open his mouth to say silly things. He needs attention since no one cares about Dallas anymore. Interesting how the same thing occurs with some Mavs fanatics here on FN....

Hehehehehe

Wow, I didn't know that. So he basically used Dallas to keep his presidency. He is an SOB... I heard that Kevin Johnson could replace Hunter instead.

KJ is definitely a better option.

Nothing.

Only the manner in which you get there....such as using a sick child as your excuse.
Fisher is a pathetic scum.
