Wings GM: No Western team is unbeatable

the other day i was thinking to myself that the pre-season paper champ Rangers are alot like last year's Kings. i guess all they have to do now is fire the coach and the cup will be theirs.

And every team is one hot goalie away from a deep run.

Anyone see the bonehead line change of the year last night in the Oilers Preds game ??? Now THAT is stupidity personified !!

Holland also stated ???Every team is one injury away from a big fall if it???s the wrong guy." Which is not stated in this column, that is why he stated no team is unbeatable, now that being said I think its all Ducks and Chicago in the west. Detroit needs to look at the fact it may miss the playoffs and try for the super bonanza where all 14 non playoff teams get a shot at first pick.

You mean the one with the shorthanded Oilers breaking down the ice on a two-on-two in the third period Kostitsyn opted to change rather than backcheck? That was awesome, he went to the bench and he put his hands in the air after the goal. Emonton should have went over and shook hands with Sergei for that one. That was awesome, I had all the games on last night and turned to that one when I heard "Whats he doing!!??" and then they scored. Maybe Sergei is thinking if he acts that way enough the Preds will ask him to go quietly.....

Wasn't that great? Gotta look after that + - thing, you know. I hear Krueger and the boys bought him dinner at The Keg after the game.

Easier to pick out those that are eminently beatable.

If the Wings Ever get healthy (Helm, Bert), and the way Howard has been lately the Wings will be there.

At the risk of sounding like a homer, I must say, if you count the Wings out you do so at your own peril. Yes, we do have some holes to fill but, we have a decent team that can play with anybody.

Thats the very one. I laughed just as hard seeing it again this morning on the highlights show. To quote the great Foghorn Leghorn " That boys elevatot doesn't go all the way to the top"
