12:40 PM ET 03.18 | James Harrison has spent his free agency period talking about the teams he'd like to play for in 2013. Unfortunately for Harrison, no one is reciprocating the interest in his services, as Sports Illustrated's Peter King labels the linebacker as the "coldest name" on the market right now. More: Check out SB Nation's Steelers site Behind the Steel Curtain Reporting from the NFL Annual League Meeting in Phoenix, King says he can't find anyone admitting to being interested in signing Harrison. The 34-year-old was released by the Steelers due to his steep contract for the coming season. He won't be playing for that same price again, as King notes.

The cap not going up has some to do with this...plus, being 35 does not help.

This is why John Abraham, Osi Umeniyora, and Dwight Freeney are all still available.

Teams are waiting for their asking prices to go down, then they will find jobs.

Being hurt the last two seasons doesn't help any either.

Or his inability to say the right thing or nothing at all....nobody needs a player drawing negative attention.

Harrison still has a couple of good years left, I would love to see him back in Black and Gold, but that ain't gonna happen. Best wishes James

The veterans can't beat the Salary Cap, it's sad but some good players are going to reach the point where at their age why take the chance for little money, The league should address this issue, it's not to difficult to resolve, if they dump their veterans, eventually it ill come back to bite them in the ****, it's called age discrimination!!!

This dewsh is one of the biggest idiots that has suited up in the NFL in the last 20 years. A roided up, low IQ knucklehead who would lose a game of jeopardy to a cockroach and a pylon.

I weep for his family.

You just hope the Patriots pick him up

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy......(dripping sarcasm). When a player intentionally tries to hurt another player and then has no feeling of remorse the league gets better when he no longer plays. He's just a thug.

I am hoping to see him in Baltimore real soon.

Should've taken the pay cut to stay in Black 'n Gold, James!!!

Of course, hindsight is always 20/20!

Agreed. Who wants to sign an over the hill player who is a magnet for penalties.

There's better options out there. The Steelers know what they are doing with their personnel.

You mean you're hoping to not see him. Ozzie wouldn't touch this guy.

How is he going to put food on his family?

So you know Harrison well? Somehow we all doubt it.

March 21, 2013  11:38 PM ET

Harrison, Urlacher and Nmadi have had to face a hard reality. Diminishing skills mean, uncertain future.
