03:52 PM ET 03.18 | St. Louis Blues forward Andy McDonald is expected to be removed from injured reserve and potentially could be in the lineup as early as Tuesday night against the Vancouver Canucks. McDonald has missed 10 consecutive games due to a lower-body injury sustained in practice on Feb. 26. The injury was incurred during the ???battle drill,??? when two nets are separated by 30 feet and the team engages in a mini-scrimmage. During the exercise, McDonald collided with Vladimir Sobotka and feel to the ice in pain. While the team has yet to officially announce McDonald???s status, they did announce the assignment of Adam Cracknell to the AHL, which is believed to be a move to clear space on the roster for McDonald.

seems as if every time I've ever hear MacDonald's name, it's been with regards to an injury.
