05:50 PM ET 03.18 | After receiving feedback from schools, the NCAA's Board of Directors on Monday suspended two rules regarding the deregulation of recruiting. Those rules deregulated restrictions on who can recruit and what printed materials can be sent to prospects. College football coaches voiced concerns over those changes, and there was a fear that richer programs could get a leg up by hiring a bunch of recruiting staffers that other schools either could not or would not pay for. With these rules on hold, though, that scenario is no longer a possibility.
