Brad Tavares calls out Wanderlei Silva

01:09 PM ET 03.19 | When you are a legend in the sport, you have to deal with up-and-coming fighters trying to call you out and make a big splash in the sport. It is no different for fighters that have been around forever like Wanderlei Silva, who many of the young fighters in the sport grew up idolizing. Now, they want a crack at their hero because they know how much a win over Silva would help their standing in the organization. Up-and-comer Brad Tavares expressed his interest in a potential fight with Silva. At this stage in his career, Wanderlei wants to face big name opponents that will further build his legacy. Tavares is a very solid fighter, but Silva is not going to let a product from The Ultimate Fighter farm system make money off of his name. It may be a fun stylistic matchup, but we shouldn't get our hopes up.
