04:50 PM ET 03.19 | Ottawa Senators forward Milan Michalek underwent arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday morning to remove debris from around his knee, according to an announcement by the team. Michalek will be out for an indefinite period of time but the club has expressed hope that he can return prior to the playoffs. The knee issue has limited Michalek???s ability to play this season, as he has missed a total of 13 games. After missing 10 games, he was able to play in two games prior to missing the team???s last three contests. It was already known that he would require surgery at some point, but he expressed a desire to play through the issue.
