04:53 PM ET 03.19 | Tampa Bay Lightning captain Vincent Lecavalier is believed to have fractured a bone in his left foot, according to a report on Monday. Lecavalier was placed on injured reserve a little over a week ago, with what was believed to be a knee injury. The injury appeared to have been sustained following a collision with Florida Panthers defenseman Eric Gudbranson on March 12. Now, it is being reported that the injury is a minor fracture on or near a bone bruise in Lecavalier???s foot, which was caused by a deflected shot from teammate Sami Salo on Feb. 2.

Agree Shipper. I guess it's because of no training camp and 48 games in what.....97 days. I feel bad for these guys throughout the league. Hopefully next season will be normal, whatever that may be.
