07:58 AM ET 03.20 | Among the best or the best? Everyone would agree that Bill Belichick is one of the best coaches in the NFL and Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. But Patriots owner Robert Kraft would go a lot further than that. Kraft told Mike Florio on Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network that Belichick is the best coach in the history of the game, and Brady is the best quarterback in the history of the game. And Kraft said he feels privileged to own a team with those two men holding down the two most important jobs for the franchise. "I don't think there's been one in the history of the NFL -- I think we're privileged to have, probably, the finest coach and the finest quarterback."

Wow Kraft really loves to talk to the media a lot nowadays. Why not win a ring post spygate before talking about the best ever?

March 20, 2013  08:02 AM ET

That's Kraft's opinion....

March 20, 2013  08:05 AM ET

Then I wonder what's his opinion of Eli and Coughlin.

You mean those guys who didn't make the playoffs last year?

I mean those guys that your team is ZERO and 2 in the Superbowl.

I'll say it. Bob Kraft is one of the best, if not the best, owners in the NFL. He owns the most consistently good team, and he bought the stadium with his own money. He never evern tried to get the state / city to pay for it.

This I agree.

And despite the banter and the rivalry, the Giants are also a well-run team.

Can't say that for the team they share a stadium with, though.

That is the best part getting to take young folks out and teach them some skills. We had a good year I shot a very nice Mule deer and got to hunt a lot. We have very few Quail and Pheasants but have been getting good moisture so they should come back. I am going to work with the folks from Quail Unlimited to get the land right and put in watering stations.

Ouch and Lol!

No offense Debbie but outside MA or Pats fans, your Superbowl wins have asterisks with other fans so I think it's really premature for an owner to say he has the best coach and QB ever. It's sort of similar with Bonds when he claimed he is the best ever and nobody believed him coz' we all knew that he was juicing even though not proven.

He was also a long time season ticket holder and fan of the team before he purchased it.

Patriots without Brady - 11 -5 - made playoffs with Matt Cassell
Colts without Peyton - 2 - 14 - worst record in the league

Air Yards Comparison 2012 - Peyton 4th, Brady 18th
Completion percentage Career - Peyton (65.2%), Brady (63.7%)

My point - Tom Brady is NOT the best ever, he's not even better than Peyton. (1) Peyton makes more difficult throws at a higher percentage, (2) He obviously meant more to his team when he went down. Brady is the best system quarterback ever, but shouldn't even be in the conversation for the best overall, based on the evidence above.

Please don't come with the "rings" argument either... cough "spygate" cough.

March 20, 2013  08:40 AM ET

BB is the best ever*.

*except for the fact that he was caught cheating, Brady's fumble was overturned vs Raiders and they haven't won anything since the kicker left town.

Let us not forget his 36-44 record with Cleveland.

Sorry Kraft, Chuck Knoll was better. Much, much better.

Hard to disagree with you.

Not as hard to disagree with Kraft, but he makes a strong argument.

Except in the playoffs when Manning sucks.

Kraft needs to shut his pie hole.
