Bynum not remembered fondly by high school

08:05 AM ET 03.20 | Criticism of Andrew Bynum has become a cottage industry, from anonymous teammates to Lakers legends. So figure this might be a good time to forage his home state for someone who might advocate for the Plainsboro native, on the chance that the folks who nurtured him at St. Joseph of Metuchen might declare these Angelino echoes just a grotesque distortion. ... As it turns out, you can't really depend on that happening, either. "Everyone here at school says the same thing: What's wrong with him? Why does he act like that?" says St. Joe's athletic director Jerry Smith. "He went from someone we're proud of to someone whose name we don't even mention anymore."

Exactly they are piling on now, the high school lol.. He is no model citizen off the court but it's not like he is a thug out here committing crimes. I do hope he saved his money though like Jack said

Maybe, just maybe.......if he'd donated a quarter of a million dollars to the school's athletic program, they'd remember him.......differently ;-) .

I guess he didn't help his bowling team win the state championship

Probably what will happen. Then he will look back and slap himself in the face and see what a wasted opportunity he had.
Learning by mistakes but it could be too late. smh
