08:10 AM ET 03.20 | A bad loss came at a worse time Tuesday night for the Clippers, who were outscored, 38-18, during the fourth quarter against the Kings. [The] Clippers now have the fifth-best record (46-22) in the West, half a game behind the 47-22 Denver Nuggets. "We're not playing well enough right now," Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro said. "We're not guarding hard enough right now. We're not physically and mentally tough enough, especially when we have to be, in the fourth quarter. And that's definitely a concern." ... Told that Del Negro wasn't happy with how the Clippers gave in, [Chris Paul] agreed. "He shouldn't be happy," Paul said. ... "[Right now], I don't think we have the confidence that we need defensively."

From top dog to fifth place with 14 games to go could be a bad thing. Top four teams are playing excellent ball these days. Hopefully they turn it around.

L.A. is a city of winners and deserves nothing but...

How Does It Feel To Play In The House That Kobe Built, Bros?

March 20, 2013  09:02 AM ET

Regardless they are going to be a tough out in the playoffs.

Right now we get bounced by either Memphis or Denver, home court or not. All these comments by VDN are dumb. Whose fault is it the team is not ready to play? I know the players play but, come on, do "some" coaching. Besides holding the team back on the sidelines whenever there is an extreme dunk. Hopefully Clippers lose and we run VDN.

if your goal is to win the championship then your seeding doesnt matter.

Seeds 3-5 are all bunched up together. It would suck to be the 5th seed and be just 1 game behind 3 seed. Nuggets are a scary team. Who said they don't have a go to guy? They have a bunch of them and they're all playing really well. Having many players that can step up is harder to play against because you don't know where the points are coming from. If a team have 1 go to guy than it will be easier for the opponents to take the ball out of his hand.

Love hearing the talking heads say the same thing all year (on here too) - no 'go to guy'. Thunder looks lost in second half last night.
