[Notre Dame] coaches are excited about Atkinson III's future in South Bend. But he still has a lot to prove after not getting any carries in the BCS title game. The 6-1, 210-pounder has the big-play ability that the Irish will be dependent upon next year. It's just a matter of consistency. Cam McDaniel, Amir Carlisle and William Mahone will also fight for reps this spring.

Sandy goes radio silent whenever the news out of USC isn't very good.
Hopefully, that means we won't be hearing from him much in the coming year.
ND is going to do just fine with its RB situation. It's CFB, and every year the new kids step up to replace the departed players. That's what is so exciting about CFB.

Well, at least by playing Alabama they know what kind of back they will need to compete for a championship. Wait...that's wrong. There was nothing about that game you could call "playing" Alabama. They were on the same field as them. That's better.
