UCLA's basketball coach has a contract that runs through 2015 but has received no indication from his bosses about what his team must accomplish for him to stay on the job. ... Winning a couple of NCAA tournament games would surely help Howland's chances of staying -- especially if one of the victories came against Florida, which defeated UCLA and Howland in the 2006 national championship game and, a year later, bounced the Bruins in a national semifinal. The Gators also beat the Bruins in a 2011 second-round game. Or, it could be that a decision has already been made that 10 seasons are enough.

I have no idea. I really don't follow b'ball. Izzo seems to be a good tournament coach, so I guess at least sweet sixteen, and maybe elite eight. After that, I guess it depends on the match ups.

LMFAO, what a dumb article!!! Howland wins the 12 Pac ( regular season) championship this year and they are talking about firing the guy??? In the days of "ONE and Dones", Howland might have three this year in freshman, Adams, Anderson and Muhammad!!!

Let's see ... Howland's team won the Pac-12 conference championship THIS YEAR .. he has been to the Final Four three times ... he has been named Coach of the Year in three different conferences as well as National Coach of the Year. Yep ... gotta get rid of him.
