08:24 AM ET 03.20 | Even a short season can get long in a hurry, which is happening to Nashville after suffering a rare loss to Columbus on Tuesday. It was just the Predators' 15th loss to the Blue Jackets in 71 games. The loss also ended the Predators' road trip with a 1-4-0 record. Overall, Nashville (11-13-6) allowed 20 goals on a trek that spanned four time zones in eight days. "I know some guys are playing over their heads," Predators coach Barry Trotz said. "Some guys quite clearly can't play at this level, that's plain and simple. ... Some guys, I'm not happy with their game. They have to give us more. And I can go top to bottom. There's some guys in that locker room who can give us a lot more, and that's the part that bothers me."

he still leads the league in shutouts though. So maybe it's more of a Jekyll and Hyde thing.

It really is ! And you can tell early also. Thats why the coach has wisely started yanking him early. If he starts bad , he gets worse. If he starts strong , all is good.
