02:26 PM ET 03.20 | Ole Miss Rebels defensive end CJ Johnson suffered a fracture to his fibula during morning practice and will miss the rest of spring practice. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze stated that Johnson would get it fixed this week. Johnson led Ole Miss with 6.5 sacks last season and will likely be out until at least the beginning of fall. Either Carlos Thompson or Cameron Wigham will slide in as the new primary starting defensive rush end.

I forgot they play TX at DKR this year.

I don't understand why teams aren't lining up to schedule home and homes with Ole Miss. Their campus/venue is beautiful and their folks are hospitable. I hope our fans show them the same courtesy they showed us last year.

I spent time at The Grove last year. Ole Miss was a great host, all stops I made was continually told that UTx coming to town was the biggest thing to hit town in a decade or more. All they could tell me was that they saw more private planes fly in than they knew existed. Great people and a great time. I have commitments to show a couple of families the places to see and eat in ATX.
