Timmy Hill plans Sprint Cup debut

08:03 AM ET 03.21 | Timmy Hill plans to make his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start of 2013 on Sunday in the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif. He'll be behind the wheel of the No. 32 Ford for FAS Lane Racing. Hill is slated to driver the No. 32 in 18-20 Sprint Cup races this year, splitting time with veteran drivers Ken Scrader and Terry Labonte.

Good luck to you......Timmy was ROTY in NW 2011 and will be competing for ROTY in Cup this year.......his competition is Danica and Stenhouse........all indications (so far) are that Stenhouse has a firm grip on this one.

Timmy ran a few races last year in the #37 and was either an S & P or a DNQ, but he's only 20 so lots of time ahead of him yet.

You know NASCAR ought to have a SENIOR RACE ,T.Labonte,R.Wallace,R.Petty, and all the rest of the ol' timers that are still around that would be pretty good and I bet the race would be a sale-out.

Great idea and Nascar would love it. I think the problem would be getting enough old timers to agree.

hmm, i seem to recall some sort of charity race in the last year or 2 that had some old timers in it.. i think it actually was at bristol

LOL....maybe a big GC smorg could be waiting for them AFTER the race......would be too detrimental before it.
