12:32 PM ET 03.21 | Chicago Bears tight end Evan Rodriguez was arrested on charges of resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication early Thursday morning in Miami, Fla., according to a report from CBS Miami. Rodriguez was arrested by the Miami Beach Police Department and booked a little after 5:30 a.m. ET Thursday morning. For the two charges, he is facing a $1,500 bond. Specific details of the incident are not yet available. Drafted by the Bears in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Temple, Rodriguez caught four passes for 21 yards in 12 games played during his rookie season in Chicago. This incident is, unfortunately, not Rodriguez's first brush with the law. After redshirting his freshman year at West Virginia, Rodriguez transferred to Temple after being accused of felony assault -- later turning into misdemeanor disturbance and trespassing charges -- in 2007.

"resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication "
Is that all. I am truly disappointed, what does he tell the other guys in the cell? "I got blistered and told a cop I did not want to go with him downtown?"
He needs a better story.
