08:06 AM ET 03.22 | Beyond Friday night's chance to shock the Heat out of their winning streak, the Pistons have plenty to play for -- including jobs. "Eyes are always on you," head coach Lawrence Frank said. "No one's going to write it off. No, no, this is how you evaluate. We're evaluating our guys every single day." ... The Pistons have plenty to spend in the summer trade and free-agency periods and cleaning up the roster usually is a an accompanying chore. "To me, there are no guarantees," Frank said. "When you've won the amount of games that we've won, I don't care who you are, no one should feel safe. Me as coach, player. ... There shouldn't be a player on the roster with a record like we are who thinks, 'Oh, I'm here next year.'"

Some guys just shouldn't be a head coach......they just don't have the 'it' factor that it takes

I bet that Charlie Villanueva is coming back next season. No team wants him or his contract. Detroit is stuck with him.

Hard to take a guy serious when he looks like he hasn't hit puberty yet.

I'm sure that more than a few Pistons fans are wondering if this message extends to the GM...

Lawrence Frank is a league soldier...he does the dirty work. No offense to Phil Jackson, but its nice to go from MJ to Shaq to Kobe and dispense metaphysical pearls of wisdom. Frank is a guy owners call for a no-glory job when they need to assess a bad team. He's not afraid to take on a bad team and help that assessment process. This team will be better for the job he's done.
