08:12 AM ET 03.22 | While GM Ned Colletti tried to downplay what might be eight weeks without Hanley Ramirez, manager Don Mattingly admitted concern for the left side of the infield. "To be honest with you, I'm not comfortable with anything that's going on at short right now," Mattingly said. Luis Cruz or Dee Gordon will replace Ramirez at shortstop. ... Mattingly said he wasn't sure if Ramirez will be the Dodgers' shortstop when he returns. "I have no idea what happens at short in the meantime," he said. "It depends which way we go. If that really works and that really looks good and third base is a mess, then I think maybe we look that way." That is, move Ramirez to third base.

Let's.see, the Dodgers have pitching and need a shortstop. Texas has an extra shortstop and could use some pitching.

Andrus would actually be a good fit for the Dodgers, as they also need a leadoff hitter, but the Rangers are NOT going to give him up for Capuano or Harang.
How about this? Andrus and a few prospects for Beckett, Capuano and something else.

wiseup A few weeks ago on T&R they had a post where Mattingly was wanting to put Ramierez at SS and Ramerirez was throwing a tantrum because he did not want to move to SS. Now Mattingly changes his mind now he wants Ramierez at 3B again.
