03:55 PM ET 03.22 | Vancouver Canucks forward David Booth is expected to miss the remainder of the 2013 regular season as he underwent surgery on his left leg Friday morning, according to general manager Mike Gillis. Booth sustained the injury against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. While attempting to beat out an icing call, Booth ended up at the bottom of a pile of players. He emerged from the pile favoring his left leg and was unable to put weight on it. At the end of the period, he required the aide of the training staff to get to the dressing room. Gillis stated that he is hopeful that Booth could potentially return in time for the playoffs.

If it had been in Detroit, They would have put him in a Lincoln and took Booth to the Ford hospital.

They've called up almost their entire farm team. All that's left of the Chicago Wolves is the howl.
