Larry Sanders ejected for third time in six games

07:52 AM ET 03.23 | Another nightmare on Pennsylvania St. struck the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. First, Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders was ejected - again - for the third time in the last six games. The Bucks stayed close in the first two quarters and trailed, 45-43, at halftime. But it all fell apart after Sanders was ejected with consecutive technical fouls called on him with 7 minutes 54 seconds left in the third quarter. Referee Zach Zarba called the first one and Mike Callahan followed with a quick ejection when Sanders turned toward the officials, even while his teammates tried to keep him from picking up a second technical. "You start playing with fire, you're going to get burned," Boylan said. "And that's what's happening right now." Mike Dunleavy exchanged words with the Pacers bench and pointed at the Pacers as he exited after officials ruled his foul a flagrant-2, meaning an automatic ejection. Last season Dunleavy and Hansbrough had a season-long feud after a hard foul by the Bucks player broke Hansbrough's nose. In the last game between the teams last season, the Pacers took Dunleavy into the stands with a hard foul and Sanders also was ejected in that game, nearly starting a melee.

It looks as if Indiana is a franchise that likes to cause brawls. First they ignite the Malice in the Palace in 2004, and now they "almost started a melee" with Milwaukee. Looks as if they are the thug team of the 2000's - just like the Knicks were in the 90's, and the Pistons were in the 80's.

Pretty Sure Ben Wallace is the instigator of the Malace in the Palace, btu I do see your point.

I remember a few years back when the Bulls had them in the first round and they seemed to try and take Rose out with some dirty tactics. Had we not been favored to wn by so much I'm sure there would have been some payback.

Guy is becoming a head case.

Indiana does go a little overboard with their "defense" though.

If you are good at something Larry, strive to be the best!

The Bulls and Indiana match up again tonight. Hopefully no sparks happen but both teams play tough gritty defense.

This is not the game Rose should try to come back in. :-)

The guy is hurting his team with all these ejections. It's better to 'fight back than surrender' but he has to remain cool.

Gotta do something to bring the fans back....

Maybe they are still stinging from when Bird called them soft in the playoffs and now they are over compensating ?

They were already getting whipped pretty good when he got tossed.

Could serve them well in the playoffs.

Zander's contract must be for only a part-time position.

If he did his Doctor better be ready to patch him up.

Indy/Miami could be even nastier this year?

If possible... maybe so.

The Pacers will be tough.

Agreed. Very tough on defense. That's why their defense is #1.

They push the edge a little much though. At some point that could cause problems. Dwade and/or Haslem may have issues again in the playoffs this year.

The only team in the east to threaten Miami's repeat chances.
