07:57 AM ET 03.23 | The Great Chapman Debate ended like this: "We made a decision on our rotation. It's Cueto, Latos, Bronson, Homer Bailey and Leake," Reds manager Dusty Baker said. With that, Aroldis Chapman was officially back in the bullpen. "It was like last year," general manager Walt Jocketty said. "It was what gave us the best opportunity to win as an organization this year. The rotation as it was, we had four guys who pitched 200 innings. We have another guy who is capable of pitching 200 innings. "That's a very strong rotation."

Why, what pitcher on the Reds has he ruined since he got there?

Edinson Volquez. Also Wood and Prior with the Cubs. Allowing high pitch counts through an entire season with his young arms. Injured through overuse. Doing things the old school way. He is not entirely responsible, mabey only partially, but he takes his share of the credit

That's funny. This is the first time I ever heard that. Everybody else said that Volquez pitching in the WBS that spring was the reason!

Perhaps you forgot about Volquez's Tommy John surgery in 2009? Sure sounds like you did. You don't remember Baker receiving his share credit for that? In 2008 Harang also complained of his arm being fatigued beyond the point of recovery, having to change his arm angle to compensate for the fatigue resulting in problems in his forearm. He went on the DL that year and was inconsistant when he came back. The next two years he dealt with even more injuries and was never the same. He said his mechanics were also never the same after the forearm injury. You can't change Baker's already known reputation simply because you are unaware of it

It was a no brainer move to put Chapman in the pen as your closer.
