08:01 AM ET 03.25 | It appears free agent tight end Fred Davis may have a few options. [Davis] is drawing interest from the Buffalo Bills, according to a person familiar with the situation. It's not clear which team is the front-runner at this point to sign Davis, that person said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the free-agent pursuit of Davis publicly. The Redskins have been trying to re-sign Davis, who has spent his first five NFL seasons with the team, but have been dealing with a tight salary-cap situation. ... The Redskins met with Davis's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, at the annual league meeting in Phoenix that ended last week, without a resolution to the negotiations.

If Drew Rosenhaus is his agent I'm betting that no other teams are interested. I'm also betting that it was Rosenhaus that leaked this rumor to the Washington Post.

Griff should go put his arm around Fred's shoulders and remind him of this.

Fred doesn't want to leave here. Especially for Buffalo. The Skins have treated Davis well, and he knows it. Also... Paulson ain't too bad either, so we're not paying too much, especially after franchising him last season where he only played about 7 games.

Going to Buffalo is like spending your honeymoon in PyongYang. You can probably do better.
