08:23 AM ET 03.25 | If indeed it was his finale, at least it was grand. On the surface, the customary sellout crowd of 19,289 filled the pews Sunday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome to watch the 28th-place Calgary Flames take on the surging St. Louis Blues. In reality, the faithful came to soak up the sight of Jarome Iginla with the flaming 'C' on his chest for what could be the final time. According to both RDS and TSN, the 35-year-old Iginla has submitted a list of four teams he is willing to waive his no-movement clause for: the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Chicago Blackhawks. Perhaps not coincidentally, the list includes the last four Stanley Cup champions.

Also not so coincidentally, only one of those four has any real shot at the Cup this year.

Well, assuming Pittsburgh is out because of the Morrow deal, assuming you are realistic and believe Chicago's goaltending will never lead them to another Cup, are you referring to Boston or LA?

I'm still wondering what Calgary will be asking for him...my guess is depending on who is asking, they will want a lot.....

Take Pittsburgh off that list. My guess is that the asking price was too high, hence the Morrow deal.

That fool is still trying to justify that stupid "Stars might trade Ericsson" rumor. ..

And then you compound it with redundancy. ;)

I was really hoping that Pitt was where he landed. Of the other three....meh ... get some youth in return.

That's what I was thinking. Shero would have picked up Iginla if the price was right, but Dallas was more reasonable.

Thanks Otis. From what I've seen he seems to be a good player and a good person.

".... a list of four teams .... the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Chicago Blackhawks."

Me thinks L.A. has the inside track. Besides the Sutter connection, the Flames need a goalie to take over from an aging, overworked, often injured Miikka Kiprusoff. Jonathan Bernier plus a roster player and a pick will get the deal done.

Can he break in the lineup in Chicago:)
