09:56 AM ET 03.25 | The UNLV Revels entered the 2013 NCAA Tournament as a No. 5 seed and had hopes of making a run, but those homes came to a screeching halt when they were upset in their opening game by the No. 12-seeded California Golden Bears. While it was a disappointing tournament appearance, the loss to Cal is not the biggest loss the team will suffer in March. According to reports, UNLV freshman forward Anthony Bennett will be announcing his intentions to enter the 2013 NBA Draft later this week. Bennett finished the year being named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year and a first team All-Mountain West selection. In his final game this season, Bennett had 15 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Bennett is expected to be a high lottery pick.

Great for the kid, sucks for college basketball.....hate the one-and-done

Wish they would follow baseball rules. If you're good-enough to go out of HS, go. If you come to college, it's a 3-year committment. IMHO, it would be better for both games, college and pros.

Truly? I thought NBA teams could simply acquire foreigners with successful contract negotiations. I did not know that overseas players were subject to a draft.
