12:20 PM ET 03.25 | With Brenden Morrow traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, all eyes turn to Jarome Iginla as the next team captain to be traded. With most thinking the Boston Bruins could be at the top of the list, Bruce Garrioch suggestst that the Los Angeles Kings makes the most sense for the Calgary Flames winger. Iginla enjoyed success with Kings coach Darryl Sutter and he included Los Angeles on his list of teams he'd accept a trade to, which included the Bruins, Blackhawks and Penguins on top of the Kings.

The fact that Iggy doesnt see the Habbies as a legit contender ?

would anyone have made the argument that iggy would have been a good fit? I certainly wouldn't have, plus I know the habs will not make a run at him anyways.

Note that the Ducks aren't on the list either. The list is made of contenders that have an actual interest in him.

If I see the Habs making a run at anyone it's Jagr.

Yup the Rangers philosophy of getting star player has never failed them yet.

which is why I think that the whole concept of deadline moves is stupid. You know what you have going in...except when you add a player you have no ideawhat it does to the line-up.
