To go from DC, HC and former HC , possibility to an assistant ( linebackers) coach.....Not going to happen!!The Cowboys keep assembling big time coaches, so tell me, who is going to be in charge there???? sounds like command by committee..Not a good thing..

jj730 ....Yes...If you had Williams, you would have a situation where you have three current or former head coaches on the team with Garrett in training to be the HC as early as Jones can get him in there....So, who is running what, who decides the final game plan, personell, etc...????? it would look to the players like the coach has been neutered,,and it would be true... not a good situation..guys will be running in to each other to get anohter HC job. ah well, it is Jones way of stayi8ng in the headlines during the off season...he likes the spotlight..

I think Campers and Campo are content on not getting another HC job. I could be wrong though. Everybody knows the team will be Garrett's sooner than later. Yes, that is correct. I will agree on Gregg Williams though. I know he wants another HC job. And I think he did try to control the defense without letting Job Gibbs in on somethings. But I think it could work for a short period of time. Jerry's still the one man who signs the checks. I think he could keep the ego's under control for a short time.

I think the Cowboy management is setting things up for the future when Garrett becomes head coach. Garrett will concentrate on the offense and Williams will take the responsibilities on defense.
