05:19 PM ET 03.25 | There's so much young talent in the NBA, but some of the youngsters just don't make the cut. There are plenty of good guards in the league, and this list consists mostly of them. These days, it's hard to find a good center that doesn't get injured over and over again. This is why the list has mostly guards. Some of these may surprise you, but other than that, it's expected. Klay Thompson is possible, but an outside chance right now, Kyrie Irving is almost a lock at this point, especially if Derrick Rose continues to sit out. Stephen Curry is due to benefit from his insane ceiling as is Damian Lillard. Kenneth Faried has exploded onto the scene and has a real chance to make the team in 2016 and even Nikola Vucevic is a guy who if he improves could not only become an Olympian (for his home country, of course) but could reach a Dwight Howard superstardom.

So that's going to be Lillard then while Curry and Irving are out.

Irving should focus on staying healthy, first and foremost.

Curry is the best of those three guys.

Curry has too many injuries to his ankles to waste his remaining ligaments on. Kid needs to shut it down after the year so he can be healthy next year.

Absolutely agree with this. I know a lot of guys want to represent, and it is an honor to be selected, but this is not a good fit for guys battling recurrent injuries.

Vucevic superstar? Pfft. Eddy Curry could be a superstar too. If he improved. A lot. And had a brain transplant. And lost a Vucevic in weight...

I thought it an extreme example of someone not even close to superstar caliber. No contemporary figure seemed to adequately fit. Care what you think I do not - Yoda. Sorry, even older. Guess I just can't please you - and that was my life goal.
