08:09 AM ET 03.26 | Forgive Celtics fans for wondering just how good Kenyon Martin would have looked playing alongside Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce these days. Doc Rivers acknowledged before Monday's practice that Martin was on the Celtics' radar but it never worked out. ... "I'm happy for Kenyon. I'm not happy that he went to the Knicks, but I am happy for him. Because he was out there and we looked at him -- a lot of [teams] looked at him -- and, in the end, I didn't care where he ended up, I just wanted him to do well. I don't know him well, but we've always had a very good relationship. Guys like that, you want them to do well. For me, it's as simple as that."

Man, the Knicks need to schedule the Raptors about 10 more times before the end of the season. Sorry Stich.

The C's can mark this one down in the "L" column. It doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things I know, but the Knicks will win this one.

Martin said "first come, first served" "If it would have been the bobcats I would have ...".

lol so many things being said. It was more than obvious a playoff team would have picked him up.

I don't understand why the Celtics didn't pick this guy up. With the injuries they have had, they needed a veteran big. K Mart can still play the game. He has been doing pretty well for the Knicks. A lot of teams messed up in passing on him this year.

Does seem odd, though.
