09:26 AM ET 03.26 | The Pittsburgh Steelers are still looking to replace veteran linebacker James Harrison, who the team released after failing to agree to a restructured deal. As they pursue a replacement, they look to the Indianapolis Colts, who were at one time a fierce AFC rival, for their potential replacement. According to reports, the Steelers have shown interest in former longtime Colts pass rusher Dwight Freeney. Whether or not anything comes of the interest has yet to be seen. The Steelers are tight up against the salary cap, so they would likely only pursue Freeney at a discounted price.

Unless the Steelers are planning a switch to the 4 - 3 Freeney is not a good fit in Pittsburgh. I think Freshet is better as an end than an OLB. But maybe that is just me.

They're more likely to bring Harrison back now that he's tasted the market than spend millions on a different guy with a year or three left to play.

Especially when you consider that Freeney's been in an entirely different system.
