01:46 PM ET 03.26 | The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a two-year contract with free agent linebacker Justin Durant. The Cowboys plan to sign Durant as soon as they free up some cap space, and financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Durant, a six-year veteran out of Hampton, spent the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions. In 2012, he played in 16 games, compiling a career-high 103 tackles and adding seven tackles for loss, three pass deflections and one-half sack. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Durant in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. In four seasons with Jacksonville, he had 272 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 11 pass deflections and two sacks.
