06:14 PM ET 03.26 | The Los Angeles Kings finally had a chance to make their visit to the White House to visit President Barack Obama on Tuesday afternoon. Due to the NHL lockout, which pushed back the start of the regular season to January, the Kings trip to meet the president was delayed. With the league re-scheduling to an intra-conference schedule, the Kings were not going to face the Washington Capitals this season. Normally, the Stanley Cup champion will make their visit upon facing the team in Washington. With the Kings off until Thursday night, the organization found time to visit the D.C. area.
